clean facilities, charming decor, close proximity to city center
The room size was disappointingly small!!! Cash-only policy was a hassle and not communicated effectively ahead of time!!! Noise from adjacent rooms made it hard to relax comfortably!!! Parking options were limited in such a busy area!!!

The proximity to downtown was a dream! Strolling to nearby gems like Jim Edwards for mouthwatering local fare and the Fish Market Bistro's fresh catches was a highlight. Phyl was a lovely host and the double room was cozy with easy parking on site.
While the stay was nice, the host's attitude felt a bit off. We had no breakfast, and the cash-only policy wasn’t made clear upfront. Plus, noisy guests kept us up, and an apology would have been appreciated.

the stay was okay, but the cash-only policy wasn’t clear at all (i mean, who carries that much cash? ). the breakfast was amazing, with delightful options made just for you. The owner shares great local tips. loved how clean and cozy the room felt, too!

The location was excellent, with just a short walk to the vibrant town center. The breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious regional dishes that provided a great start to the day. However, the cash-only payment policy was inconvenient and not communicated well upfront, and the rooms felt a bit dated, which detracted from the overall experience. While the host was friendly, there were moments where the interactions seemed abrupt, which was unexpected compared to other stays in the area.

We enjoyed the beautiful walk to the charming port town, where we explored the local shops and had drinks at a few pubs. The host was incredibly welcoming and gave us great tips on where to go for seafood.
It was a bit surprising to learn about the cash-only payment policy upon arrival, so be prepared for that when you visit.

The double room was clean and cozy, with comfortable beds that made for a great night's sleep. Loved the tea kettle and selection of teas in the room—such a nice touch! Just a heads up, the cash-only policy was a bit of a hassle, and the steep walk up to the B&B could be tricky if you're tired. But overall, it felt very homey and was a perfect base for exploring Kinsale.

great location but cash-only policy is inconvenient
The house is charming with a superb location for walking to town attractions. Breakfast was excellent, and I loved the communal seating where we could interact with other guests. Our host, Phil, offered invaluable local tips that enhanced our exploration significantly.
The cash-only payment policy came as a surprise, which is something that should be highlighted in advance.
